OMG! I just realized that someone I admire a great deal just made the cover of the DC magazine MetroWeekly! Rad! The magazine, which profiles LGBT life in Washington, DC, has a featured interview with the amazing Ruby in which she talks about immigrating from El Salvador, the process of accepting herself as a transgender woman, and life in DC as an immigrant trans woman.
It also discusses her role in the DC Trans Coalition and its efforts to win civil right protections for trans peaople.

Ruby is my gurl! I'm so excited.. and I just can't hide. I'm about to loose control and I think I like it.. i like it.

ruby is a very nice person ,always helping her comunity on all the ways,not only to the gay comunity but in general,am new in the washington area and am very happy that i found her,shes been helping me a lot and she brought my life back,from a very bad situacion i went trhue.........kisses ruby and god bless you
