Well, I'm not sure about me having trees (those are 2 blocks away from my apartment building) and they do mask the fact that just behind me in that pic is Northern Boulevard, one of the big avenues in Queens (or that there's a Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts around one corner or an ugly gas station around the other). But, yes, some streets in Jackson Heights, are beautiful.

Well, Wockner-boy, those daily avocado topped fritatas with fruit certainly did the job while I was there. I've just managed to lay off the burgers since I got back - for the most part - and sustain the weight loss from the trip to Cali. It helped that I finally caught the documentary "Super Size Me" on cable.
